Remick Smothers grew up in Washington, D.C., where an early introduction to fly fishing turned into a lifelong obsession with the waters of the Mid-Atlantic. A former guide on the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay, he now specializes in warmwater fly fishing for trophy bass and panfish.
The youngest son of legendary comedian Dick Smothers, Remick brings deep fishing knowledge, storytelling, and a good sense of humor to every day on the water.

Trips are run out of a 2020 Boulder Boat Works River Skiff—handbuilt in Colorado and designed for shallow, technical water. Outfitted with a Yeti cooler, swinging angler seats, casting braces, Garmin side-imaging, and Sawyer oars, it’s the ideal platform for targeting trophy fish in quiet, hard-to-reach water.
